J-point depression on Holter

J-point depression on Holter


  I am a 27 yr old female who had a holter done recently.  The Cardiologist says I have
  SVT.  I have a question regarding one of the comments on the Holter
  report though:
    - What does "borderline J-Point Depression" mean?
  I often have times when my heart beats so fast that I nearly black out.
  I've never completely gone unconscious and I do notice that if I sit down
  right away or hang onto something, it will go away.

Thank you for your question.  As you can see by scrolling through this site we get many questions regarding tachycardia and palpitations.  J-point depression describes the position of the terminal portion of the QRS complex and is not a significant finding.
