King of Hearts results

I have been having some nerve problems for about 4 months now.  I get burning, tingling and painful muscle cramps everywhere, especially in the neck, arms and head area.  Along with this, I get rapid heart beats and sometimes I feel like my heart is skipping beats.  My heart beats fast mostly in the morning when I am getting out of bed.  I was put on a King of Hearts monitor and those results show periods of tachycardia that are most present when I experience dizziness and short of breath.  It also says that the irregular rhythms are coming from the upper (atrium area?) of the heart.  I see a cardiologist Friday, and Im just wondering what I should expect from him and could you tell me if these heart rates are causing damage to the heart?  Ive had several ekg's and theyve all been normal.  Can stress cause an elevated heart rate-especially first thing in the morning?  My blood pressure is really low- runs about 98/60 on average.  Thank you for your time.

The heart monitor suggests that you have some sort of atrial arrhythmia. I am not sure that these account for all your symptoms, but, if fast enough, they could cause dizziness. Stress can elevate the heart rate, but should not cause atrial arrhythmia. The blood pressure you mention is low normal. The cardiologist will evaluate the heart rhythm strips and determine whether there really is an abnormal heart rhythm, or whether you are just having fast heart rates (from exercise, anxiety, dehydration etc.)Make sure he has access to the test results.
