LBBB and High Potassium level

Hi there,

I was born with LBBB and have had hypertension for the past 20 years. I've been on Candesartan in the past year to manage my blood pressure and my cardiologist also prescribed Spironolactone last week. I was also told it's likely that I'd need a pacemaker put in roughly 6 months down the track :/

My question is, I understand Spironolactone could make my potassium level go up, so what are some of the food source that are good for my heart health but low in potassium? Salmon, tomato, and beans are good for the heart (I also enjoy them) but they're high in potassium.

Thanks

Stick with fruits and veggies, great for the heart and most are high in magnesium which will help regulate your heart rhythm.
