I supposedly had a heart attack in 2001.  I say supposedly because the only person who claims I did was the ER doc who used AMI as a IDC9 on my chart.  I was however diagnosed with a LBBB and LVD due to the LBBB.  I have tried every pill out there to help with angina and palpataions but I am unable to function on them.  They make me swollen and so tired I cant function.  I have been told so many different things by Doctors...its no big deal..its a big deal..learn to live with the chest pain...blah blah blah.  My Father died at 49 from a heart attack so I know I have to take some of this seriously.  Are there any new meds out there that wont wipe me out and do I really need a dual lead pacemaker?

I don't know as your history is not known to me. If you are unhappy with you present medical care seek the opinion of an expert. Here at the Cleveland clinic we have very experienced cardiologists which may be able to give you a more accurate prognosis of your disease and whether or not you will benefit from a pacemaker. They also may help you with reduction in future cardiac events. Contact us and ask to see a member of our cardiology department. 216 444 2200
