Sorry my phone is sometimes difficult to work with. No I didn't have any sweating, tremors or anything like that. My blood pressure was like 163/110. I did contact my doc an she said its mostly likely anxiety but if it happens again that we can do testing. I did go have a heart scan an my score was a zero he said I don't have any calcium or plaque build up.
Please stop typing in caps. I feel like you're shouting at me. :)
Did you have any chest pain? Any sweating, tremors? What was your blood pressure?
It does sound a lot like a panic attack. That doesn't mean you shouldn't get it checked out. You are young, but you have a lot of risk factors for heart disease. I wouldn't rush to the ER, but definitely make an appointment to see your doctor.
IT WAS A STEADY HEART BEAT DIDN'T FEEL ANY MISSING OR SKIPPING BEATS. I AM IN PRETTY GOOD HEALTH, HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE CONTROLLED WITH LOW DOSE BP MEDS AN PRE DIABETIC CONTROLLED WITH DIET. I DO HAVE ANXIETY WHICH I TAKE NOTHING FOR. I'M 32 YR. OLD 203 POUNDS 4' 11'. I HAVE LOST 30 POUNDS SO FAR AN STILL WORKING AT IT. I USED MY BP MACHINE TO COUNT MY HEART RATE NOT SURE HOW TO COUNT ON MY WRIST. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!
Depends on so many things. If it is really a concern see a cardiologist and have a stress test and other diagnostic tests done to rule out a serious heart issue. It can occur if you drank drinks with caffeine or other stiumlants...cold medicine...diet meds...etc. Too much alcohol can sometimes trigger it. Anxiety of course. 130 is not incredibly fast. Many tachycardias can take your heart rate up to 200 bpm. Was the heart beating steady...or were you missing beats. You counted the beats by holding your fingers to your neck? Are you in generally good health? Age? Family History? etc.
It sounds like a panic attack to me but ask your doctor.
