Leaking valves and excerise

  I have one St. Jude valve and also my mitral valve is leakingv 1+, my tricuspid valve is leaking 2+.  I have been told to excerise.  Will it
  cause those valves to leak even more? Or will excercising be okay for
  me to do.  Thanks.
