Leaky Valve

by Faygar, May 01, 2008 11:48PM
I am preparing for shoulder replacement.  I had a cardiolite stress test which shows that I have two leaky valves.  On has an "significant" leak.  The cardiologist said to go ahead with surgery and after recuperation, he will do a test to see how bad the leakage really is.  He doesn't seem to feel the heart situation will cause any problem during the replacement surgery.  Does this sound reasonable or should I get another opinion?
Thank you-Faygar
