Left Ventricular Tachycardia Ablation issues?

Left Ventricular Tachycardia Ablation issues?

I am a 37 year-old male that has had a defibrillator/pace maker installed (Dec. '08) due to frequent VT (over 300bpm).  Medication has not helped and my symptoms are more frequent now.  My doctor has scheduled an ablation (left ventricular) and I was curious to know if anyone else has been through this and what were their results?  I know ablations are done all the time but I also hear that left ventricular ablations are not as common and possibly the most dangerous due to the connection to the brain (seizures are a side effect).  Of course we all want to think nothing will go wrong but I would also like to prepare for the worst case as well.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!
