Leg Twitching

by Goldngrl, Nov 08, 2006 12:00AM
I am a 28YO female who was diagnosed with SVT in August.  I am on 25mg of Toprol daily.  During one of my bouts of SVT, I saw an ER doctor who thought I might've slung a blood clot because I was having the SVT and chest pain.  Did a CT scan...negative on the clot, and a slightly elevated d-dimer (264...cut off was 250).  However, I have been EXTREMELY worried about blood clots ever since.  I am having heaviness/tightness and twitching in my legs daily...this has been going on for about 2 mos now.  I have been taking on average (of my own accord) 650 mg of aspirin daily because I am so worried about this.  I have no swelling, but do have occasional sore spots on different places on my calves.  I am overweight (probably 40 lbs).  I do have anxiety issues that are mainly aggravated by the SVT.  What could this be and am I hurting myself taking the aspirin?
