Leiden Factor V

  What problems can Leiden Factor V with Protein C resistance cause?  Is is related to arteries, veins or both?  Thank You

Leiden factor V is important in the blood clotting cascade.  Patients with deficiencies in this factor are prone to venous blood clots and often require coumadin therapy.
