Lightheaded,dizziness

My father is on metoprolo (50mg) and lipitor (10mg). He had a quad bypass done. He also takes one asprin a day. The problem is when he goes into certain stores he gets dizzy and lightheaded, as if he is going to pass out. This never occurs when he is outside, it seems only when he is shopping. At first we thought it was his glasses,but his prescription is fine. Could this be from the metoprolo and asprin being taken together, or the lipitor. Perhaps we should be looking at something else? Thank you!

I had these same symptoms when going into stores but felt fine when outdoors. Turns out it was anxiety/panic. I had a fear of going in stores......thinking some medical problem would happen to me in there. I sometimes had a fast heartbeat and trouble breathing. This might be something to mention to his doctor.
