I have Long q-t. 440 is considered long qt interval and 420-440 is considered borderline. Some borderline people have sypmtoms and some don't. Caffeine should not lengthen the interval but it can cause the skipped beats. Other medications can be causing it too. Please feel free to email me with your questions

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we have a follow up visit with a Pediatric Cardiologist this month. But, Dr, if you could let me know, just what is the normal range for a QTc reading. My ekg done 5 years ago stated my QTc interval is .402. Need we be more concerned?
Kathleen.
Dear Kathleen,
I would follow up on these flutters as you call it and make sure that your daughter reduces her caffeine intake.
It might be warranted to reassess an ECG at a later date once caffeine has been curtailed.
this QT is in the high range of normal and should be followed particularly in the presence of palpitations.
Hey yo,
I was 13 when I started to get these heart palps and ****. Yo they can become lethal and they are early signs of trouble later on.
Hey yo,
I would recommend that you see a specialist. I suppose an EP won't be bad. Are you sure she never went into tachyardia?
Hey yo,
Was your husband drinking alcohol during the time you got pregnent with your daughter? Personally a lot of people with heart problems don't have genetics elicing these attacks, rather it was there parents who were on drugs like alcohol during the pregnancy or even before they were pregnent!
Hey yo,
Don't take my word for it. Ask a professional.
Good luck and may God cure your daughters ailments :)

Elicing means Eliciting or triggering.
Forgot to mention. I thought that a prolonged QTc interval started at .440 ms. Doctor, what is the normal range for a QTc interval? You can tell I'm worried about this. Thank you again.
