Looking for best Aortic aneurysm/aortic valve replacement surgeon in Texas

I am a 56 year-old-woman and I have been diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm(4.8cm) and leaking aortic valve. I have been told it needs to grow a little more before surgery, but I'd like to have all my ducks in a row before the day comes. I have been told to go out of state for this surgery and have relatives in Dallas and Houston so I'd like to have it done there. Anyone know of a great Dr. who specializes in this area?

Thanks! My brother lives there and has found a Dr. that specializes in what I have so that's probably where I'll go.

I can't give you a specific name for a doctor, but if I were in your shoes I would head to The Texas Heart Institute in Houston. They are known all over the world. I know when my daughter had her first ablation for WPW, they were the ONLY place in the world doing electrical surgery on the heart. They were amazing!
