Lopressor

by raybond, Feb 05, 2009 01:00AM
Had a quad bypass six years ago.  I am trying to lose weight with weights and a treadmill.  I have asked four doctors this question and no one seems to know the answer!!!  I am using a Polar heard monitor while on the treadmill.  Should I base my numbers (target heart zones) when I have taken Lopressor or should I be working out BEFORE I take the Lopressor???  As one would expect I must work much harder to get into the "zone" when on the Lopressor then when I have NOT taken one.

Thank you for any help you can provide on this.
