Lovasatin / Lisinopril / Diltiazem

Lovasatin / Lisinopril / Diltiazem

I am a 39 year old Caucasian male.  Years ago I was placed on cholesterol / blood pressure medicine after my annual physical revealed a high C-Reactive Protein number…Anyway, since then my blood pressure  / cholesterol #’s have been tip top…My doctor even saying “With numbers like this you will live until 100”.  I am currently on 40mg Lisinopril, 40mg of Lovastatin and 360mg of Diltiazem, and a daily low dose aspirin.  Been on this regimen for years now.  I have always taken the Lisinopril and aspirin in the morning and the Lovastatin and Diltiazem together at night.  I am embarrassed to say, I recently noticed that the bottle of Diltiazem says to take in the morning and Lisinopril states to take at night….Well, I decided to finally follow the instructions and that did not work out one bit.  When I took the Diltiazem in the morning, I felt like garbage all day long.  As my understanding is that there is a potential interaction between Lovastatin and Diltiazem is it ok to stay the course with what I have always done since nothing seems to indicate a problem after my annual physical?  Thanks for your time.
