Low blood pressure

by Jordankrev, Apr 09, 2008 12:53PM
Just a quick question.  I'm a 17 year old boy and have ( when resting) low blood pressure. When I sit down or when I'm lying down my blood pressure can fall sometimes to 103 over 42 and my pulse rate can either be in the 70's or the 60's to. My main concern it my bottom number.  When I stand up My blood pressure will go up.  I'm Only 120 pounds and have done alot of walking and light work in the past, But I'm wondering If it goes this low from me only being 120 pounds. I do get a little dizzie and light headed somtimes, and sometimes I feel fine ? My doctor siad that my pulse goes so low because I weigh so little and it doesn't have to work so hard, can this be the same with my blood pressure ?
