Low heart beat
I was diagnosed 8 years ago with sick sinus syndrome and atrial fibrillation and my heart beat is seldom over 45 and flucuates between 40/50. I am 78 years old and in very good health and I am active. I am on warfarin, tanmbocoor and digoxon, is the low heart beat dangerous

Yes, it can be of danger...

I have a defective sinus node in my heart.

Left alone, my heart rate drops to zero....normal heart beats, flat line, normal heartbeats...

Usually the arrests occur while I am sleeping...could have been a much, worse, outcome.
