MILD MVP WITH MILD MITRAL INSUFFICIENCY

hello,

i have a question . i have been diagnosed with mild mvp and  mild regurgitation (1/4).

in what instances do i need antibiotic profylaxis?

I am very scared.

After many years the opinion had been to take antibiotics prior to a dental procedure,  about a year ago the American Heart Assocation has with additional information no longer takes that position.  

Mild, trivial, etc. valve leakage is considered medically insignificant and almost always doesn't progress.  Not an uncommon condition.
