To start out I'd like to commend this web site and the quick responses to readers' questions.  It is often difficult to get questions answered from our regular physicians for whatever reason, and this site offers a reassuring touch.
Anyway, here goes.  Five years ago had PVC's qute frequently, went to Dr. & had echo and holter, discovered had MVP with no regurg.  Recently had strong bout of PVC's, was put on 50mm Toprol XL, had another echo, discovered mild regurg.  My question is this--Will MVP get progressively worse as the years go on?  I don't smoke, drink to excess, exercise 45 daily, not overweight, 45 years old.  Also, in regards to exerise, should I not push myself to extremes?  Have started some weight training, is this a bad thing for this condition?
Thanks in advance,
Nancy
