Maze procedure for atrial fibrillation

  My mom needs this procedure. Can anyone give me a listing of where its offered and contacts. I know Dr. James Cox of Georgetown Univ offers this procedure.

We perform that procedure at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Patrick McCarthy is a surgeon here with a large amount of experience with the procedure. You could call the number below for an appointment with one of our cardiac electrophysiologists, who would determine if the procedure was appropriate in the first place and then arrange for it to be performed. There are other newer options for atrial fibrillation that are becoming available also.
