Maze

I had the maze procedure on Nov 2,2000. I am still in a-fib.  What's next? How does Rythmol work? Is generic the same (my pharmacy is out of the brand name)? How do I find out the success chances of my specific case in a comparison profile with other patients who have similar physical histories, assuming their must be quantifiable differences within the total set of procedure applicants?

The maze procedure does not always eliminate afib, but hopefully it has at least made it less frequent. Medications such as rhythmol convert the heart beat back to normal - generic should be OK. Whether it works will largely be a matter of trial and error, with this and possible other medications.
