Mild MV and Tricuspid valve Regurg

Mild MV and Tricuspid valve Regurg

Thanks in advance for your answer....

I had a recent Echo that showed all normal measurements...EF of 60-65%.

The report did mention Mild MV and Tricuspid valve regurg...those valves and their leaflets all were normal size
with no thickening or dysfucntion...the report said "normal size...no thickening...open and close properly...blood flows in correct way"....

My doctor assure me this is a non significant finding and benign. That most healthy adults have mild regurg in one or several valves. And we would re-test in 5 years.

Is this your perspective?

Totally normal.  Most normal, healthy adults have trivial (or mild) mitral and tricuspid regurgitation.  Would not worry at all and unless you had an abnormal finding on your echo such as mitral valve prolapse, I would not repeat another echocardiogram unless you had symptoms or a reason too!
