Mild concentric left ventricular hypertrophy and night episodes of fast heart beat, palpitations

In the last two years I have been diagnosed out of the blue  with mild concentric left ventricular hypertrophy, then after being told this was nothing to loose sleep over I went into a-fib in February.  This was resolved in less than twenty four hours with medication. Meds were stopped the day after.   I have been healthy enough except for hypertension, which I thought was mostly controlled.  However, I have been to several physicians, including a couple of cardiologist because of night episodes of rapid heart beat usually not exceeding 120 bpm until the a-fib which got much higher.  These attacks awaken me abruptly out of sleep and are really scary.
I was always told that I was having panic attacks!  I had as I mentioned been trying to find help for something that seemed abnormal to me for a couple of years.  The attacks used to happen years apart then months apart.  Sometime I would also awaken with shaking chills.   The Drs. seemed irritated like I was worrying too much. But I am 59 and this wasn't normal for me.  I am NOT usually a worrier, but have had some very big things LIFETIME MOVIE events in my calm, happy environment in the last few years.  So please anyone I am looking for info about whether mild concentric left ventricular hypertrophy is dangerous?  I was told it was just caused by my blood pressure. However, this had seemed under control except during the night attacks when it would go up quite high on occasion.  As for my irregular beats I was told that my heart had the hiccups back then.  I hever knew until the holter monitor that my bpm ranged from 49 to 150 during sleep on a couple of occasions.  An internist was concerned about this several years ago after finding it on a holter report.  Beta blockers made them worse so he put me on a calcium channel blocker called taztia 120 ER and I take Hyzaar 50/12.5 also for blood pressure.
Can anyone identify with these out of the blue night episodes?  I am asleep and this awakens me.  So it is not like I am up for it.   Also it does not happen during the day.  Why only at night?  Does anyone else have any of these conditions? M ejection fracton is 75 . I can tell you this , but I don't really understand mild concentric lvh either.

Thanks,
lanakaye

Have you been checked for a sleep disorder like sleep apnea?  I saw some kind of medical show on TLC I believe and someone had a similar problem and it ended up being due to sleep apnea.
