Minimal invasive surgery

I need to replace my AV and I had been cansulted by several doctors and surgens. I was interested in the minimal invasive and one surgen told me I am too little, and another one told me he can do it. I am trying to understand why is the diff in openion if all surgens follow the same creteria.
Has anyone seen Dr Galloway from NYU, I hear he does alot of these type of operation. There is a vido on the internet that explain alot of things about this type of operation. Has anyone who is a small person about 100 pb have had a valve replacment via the minimal invasive surgery please reply to this, I would like to learn more so I can make up my mind, I need to have surgery withen a month.

What I have heard it that there can be a lot of blood loss with this surgery, which may be why there is a difference in opinion regarding your size.  If you are a smaller person, you must likely have less blood volume.  On the other hand, I have seen first hand after open heart surgery, almost all blood loss.  Make sure that the surgeon that does the procedure has done many and had great success with them.
