Minimally invasive valve replacement surgery

Minimally invasive valve replacement surgery

My 80 yr. old mother is suffering from severe aortic stenosis and was recommended for valve replacement surgery.  She is in a frail state and is also suffering from senile dementia.  We heard about a procedure done at the Cleveland Clinic that is minimally invasive with much less risk and recovery period.  We would like to know if anyone else is doing this procedure in the U.S., preferably in N.Y. or Florida where we have close relatives.

Dear Sandra,
Thank you for your question.  I am not too familiar with the medical centers in these states.  Is there anyone else in this forum that has some information about this?  I hope you are able to find a center that would be close to family.
