Mitral Regurgitation and PVC's

On an echocardiogram my doctor told me they found "slight" mitral regurgitation, but it is nothing to worry about.  Could there be any correlation with my PVC's?  My doctor said it is just the advanced technology of equiptment that made it possible to pick up the regurgitation and otherwise they wouldn't even know it was there - does this sound correct?  Thanks for your help!  -KAL

Dear Kal,
Not only does it sound correct, it is correct, and it is even likely that at times you have NO regurgitation of that valve.
