Mitral Valve Leak and Pregnancy

I was wondering if anyone has gone through a pregnancy with a moderate to severe mitral valve leak. What were some issues that you faced? Did the pregnancy further worsen the leak? Did you consider repairing the valve before getting pregnant?
I am finding it difficult to find information on this topic, is there a good resource? Thank you in advance for any advice or sharing your experience.

hi my name is rachel i have had a pregnancy with trivial mitral valve reguration i was monitored throughout heart scans from start but everything went well and my reguration never alterd i was also under a obstertrician to monitor my symtoms its best to ask a doctor who will point you in the right direction.
