Mitral Valve Leak and Pregnancy

I was wondering if anyone has gone through a pregnancy with a moderate to severe mitral valve leak.  What were some issues that you faced?  Did the pregnancy further worsen the leak?  Did you consider repairing the valve before getting pregnant?  

I am finding it difficult to find information on this topic, is there a good resource?   Thank you in advance for any advice or sharing your experience.
