Mitral Valve Prolapse and Drinking WIne
I have MVP and recently got an official diagnosis of that along with Ehlers Danlos.  Im 41 and noticed that when I drink red wine (about twice a month), I get shortness of breath, along with foot and leg cramps.  I am wondering if it is safe for me to drink wine at all?  Its the only alcohol that I enjoy, so I don't know if any alcohol would cause this or not.  I would like to ask if it is probable that the wine is causing this and if so, is it safe for me to be drinking the wine?  Also, if it is the wine, a brief idea of why it would cause these same symptoms each time I drink.
