Mitral regurgitation vs post partum cardiomyopathy

What is the difference between mitral regurgitation that occurs post-partum vs post partum cardiomyopathy?  Is one more serious than the other?

Post partum cardiomyopathy is a decline in heart function as a result of pregnancy.  It is a serious condition that requires medical attention and management.  I have not heard of post partum mitral regurgitation.   The more likely possibility is that one had mitral regurgitation prior to the pregnancy and it may have gotten worse because of the high volumes related to pregnancy.
