Mitro Valve

Mitro Valve

I am very new to this site. (just saw this today....) I'm sorry if a similar question like this has popped up in conversation. (i'm sure it has)

My mom was diagnosed with mitro valve prolapse a long time ago. Well, I am 18 years old and feel like i have this too. I have noticed these symptoms have been very noticeable this past month. My heart will do this double beat then go back to a regular beat. It really scares me. I have been told by the doctor that i do have an irregular heart beat. I have panic attacks and do get headaches often now. I was born with scoliosis and read that could affect mitro valve problems.

I'm really scared and just don't want anything serious.

Mitral Valve Prolapse is usually a mild thing with no symptoms. Have it checked out.

I don't have a severe case of scoliosis so i didnt get anything corrected. The doctor i went to told me that he highly doubts my back will curve anymore. Its been the same for years. (he is the same doctor that corrected my mothers scoliosis when she was 14.)

I do appreciate the comments.
