I was diagnosed with Mitro valve prolapse in 1990 when I was pregnant with my first child at the age of 18. I am not on any medication and thru the years I have had tests done. And the doctor says I had nothing to worry about. My father has a heart murmur and gall bladder disease runs in my family. Lately I have been having chest pains more often. They are on the left side of my rib cage and under my breast a little. I really don't understand my condition and I have been told it only comes out during pregnancy, I have also been told that gall bladder disease can cause chest pain that people mistake as heart attack symtoms. The pain is sharp and last for 15-30 mins. sometimes 3-5 times a day. And it could be while driving or watching t.v. (relaxed). Is this something to worry about? Can it be the gall bladder or something else other than the heart? Or is it symtoms of my condition?
