More pain on isosorbide mononitrate?

by asc01, Oct 25, 2007 01:28PM
I started isosorbide mononitrate this morning.  I wasn't surprised by the headache, which is pretty bad, but was surprised that I have had quite a bit MORE chest pain today!

Has anyone else found this?

When I first started taking the isosorbide mononitrate, I had a headache as well and dizziness.  But it subsided after awhile (although I still get some dizziness from my various meds).  I did not receive chest pain/pressure from the drug as far as I know, although I did have some continuing chest pressure from other sources.  Could the combo of drugs you are on be lowering your blood pressure and causing some of the symptoms?  Good luck!
