Morning v. Afternoon Resting HR

Morning v. Afternoon Resting HR

I know that first thing in the morning is the best time to take your resting heart rate.  From what I read the afternoon resting heart rate is on average 5-6 beats higher than the morning heart rate.  My afteroon heart rate is usually about 20 beats higher than the morning.  My evening heart rate comes close to my morning one.  For me, it seems to be fairly consistent.  What are your experiences?  Does your resting heart rate vary considerbly during the day? Is there a pattern to it?

Your resting HR will go up during the day after you eat a meal, while you are working especially if its a stressful job either physical or mental, if you had to much caffeine which is not always from coffee, coke and chocolate has it too,  I cannot take anything which contains Sucralose as in Splenda my HR will go up.  Phenylaninine which is in a lot of soft drinks can make your HR go up, Even tea contains caffeine.  Some people are sensitive to it and others are not.

My heart rate is all over the place all day...lol.  What I have noticed is that it slows way down around 9pm.  During the day I would say the average is in the low 80s, but at night it's usually mid to low 50s.  During the day I obsess over how it's too fast, but then at night sometimes I get scared it's too slow.  I can never win >_<.
