Muscle twitching in face and body - related to statin?

by vdrtime, Nov 11, 2008 08:32AM
I am on my fifth day of taking Lovastatin 40 mg. I have been having little twitches in my arms and legs. I am getting twitches in my eyelids and the corners of my mouth too. I also have a horrible burning sensation in my upper right chest, but I have a bad stomach and I ate a lot of fried vegetables. Could this be related to the statin?
