Mutiple Questions

My question contains multiple questions on Heart Disease.
My husband had a heart-attack a little over a year ago,
and has had a pacemaker/difibulator implanted.
since then he has been diagnosed with COPD.
My question is:  Is he sat a greater risk for having another heart-attack,even
with the difibulator/pacemaker?

The defibrillator prevents him from dying a sudden cardiac death, that is if he develops a very fast heart rhythm and he is not near medical assistance it can prevent it from degenerating into ventricular fibrillation. It does not reduce the risk of myocardial infarction, but does decrease the risk of sudden cardiac death.
