Myocarditis?

Myocarditis?

Hello! I have some questions regarding Myocarditis. Back in February, I came down with some sort of viral illness, where I lost my voice and had a deep cough that lasted a few weeks. As the weeks progressed into March, I noticed that I was short of breath at times, had more ectopic beats (not sure if they were PAC's or PVC's) and just generally felt unwell. I also began to have chest pains at times, but more on the left side. Does this suggest the risk of Myocarditis? In late March, after all of the symptoms had been noticed, I had a EKG, an echo, a stress test and basic blood work done, all of which came back ok, though the EKG was abnormal, but the docs both said nothing was found to be particularly alarming. I am still quite concerned today, as my symptoms are still reluctant to leave. My questions are:
1) Wouldn't my symptoms have gotten WAY worse if I had Myocarditis symptoms 2 months ago?
2) Outside of the invasive biopsy method, are there any other tests that are good at detecting myocardial inflammation?
3) Do and can people recover from this on their own without treatment and are there any life long effects?
4) Does increased heart palpitations during exercise point to something ominous?
5) Kind of off topic, but what would a V-Tach heart rhythm feel like? I had chest wall surgery to correct pectus excavatum and I am always aware of my heart beat, as I can feel my chest move! This makes the palpitations especially noticeable and frightening.
Thanks so much!

I remember what V tach feels like.  Like you just ran as fast as a cheetah but you haven't left the chair.  I also felt like I had an angry  hornets nest in my chest. Vibration.

>>>  physician may suspect myocarditis if your symptoms have appeared within six weeks of an infection. Blood samples are tested for infection or signs of inflammation and are measured for enzyme levels that signal damage to the heart muscle. Blood tests may also reveal one of the viruses that has been linked to myocarditis

2) Outside of the invasive biopsy method, are there any other tests that are good at detecting myocardial inflammation?

>>>>Tests to diagnose myocarditis include inaddition to blood test.:
Electrocardiogram can detect muscle stress and abnormal heart rhythm.

Chest X-ray
This test can show an enlarged heart and fluid buildup in the lungs, a sign of heart failure.

Echo, images may show weak heart muscle, an enlarged heart, or fluid surrounding the heart

3) Do and can people recover from this on their own without treatment and are there any life long effects?
>>>>In many cases, the swelling that causes myocarditis improves, either on its own or with treatment, leading to a complete recovery.

4) Does increased heart palpitations during exercise point to something ominous?
There can be heart rhythm disorders with myocarditis.

I am providing a link to the heart rhythm forum for detail information on V-tech:
