Need for Aorta repair?

I am scheduled to have my aortic heart valve replaced due to calcification and narrowing, high velocity, and symptoms. I am male, 60 yrs old, fit, diabetic under control. Should there also be repair or treatment for a "significantly enlarged ascending aorta" as reported on the echocardiogram?  There is no measurement of the aorta diameter. Nothing is proposed for the aorta at this time as an aneurism (aneurysm) was not reported.
