Need help w echo results..

51 yr old F caucasian
Avid power walker, eat healthy, recent diagnosis of high blood pressure, just started 25 mg hydrothiazide and 25 mg linosprol.
Echo results came back normal; howver Dr has ordered a nulear stress test tomorrow which I am dreading...

Please review results: What are the normal values?? I got some from the message before this...

To refer the normal values (and explaination):

IVSd: (heart middle wall during diastole, filled heart) 1,0 cm (normal 0,6-1,2 cm)
RWT: Relative wall thickness (wall thickness divided to inner space) 0,54, normal below 0,43
LVd: Inner space during diastole: 3,7 cm, normal less than 5,8
LVs: Inner space during systole (contraction) 2,6 cm, normal less than 72% of LVd

LVPW: Left ventricle wall during diastole. 1,0 cm (normal 0,6-1,2 cm)
LV mass divided on BSA: Normal less than 104 g/m2

LVEF: % of blood pumped out each heartbeat. Normal >50%

Results: Most of them normal, but you have thick heart walls compared to heart size. In my case, the walls are also 1 cm, but LVDd is 5,2 cm. Relative wall thickness is lower. This is not as bad as "hypertrophy" but it's named concentric remodellation. It may be an effect of high blood pressure, but your doctor should tell you what the cause may be. We are not doctors. It may also be a normal variant.
