New Atrial Fib Diagnosis

New Atrial Fib Diagnosis

It is something that is new for me.  I am tired all the time.  I cfan't seem to get a straight answer to what I can do physicaly.  I was told nothing strenuous; you know when you can.  I get winded just on shoert walks.  I am on cumadan and top.  er.   I was told that the doctor will try to pass current across the valve to schock it into rhythm.  A pacemaker was not mentioned.  IS there guidelines for this as far as activity goes?

This discussion is related to atrial fibulation.

Wait until you have the doctor shocks you back into rhythm, a-fib is a rhythm that makes the heart susceptible to blood clots that is why the put you on coumadan to make sure when he puts you back into normal rhythm no clots will cause you to have a heart attack or stroke, listen to the doctors advice is extremely important, when you are out of the rhythm talk to your doctor about staying out of that rhythm for the future and when you can do physical exercise as for know keep it light, like he said nothing strenuous! When your out of the rhythm different ball game, my heart goes out to you, and i hope this helped.
