Oh my God, not another one lol. Look, OOBE was based on reports where people left their bodies and floated around like a spirit. They claimed to have seen their bodies in theatre being operated on etc. Many pilots undergoing training in a centrifuge experience tunnels of light etc, it's just a thing of the mind, not actually leaving the body.
I would love to see the OOBE information you have, convincing me we have the ability to spring out of our bodies in spirit form and move around at will. OOBE was nothing to do with sleep originally, it was a big thing in the 70's, people even claim they can leave their bodies at will today. So, yes please, I would love the proof we can do that.
Well being you asked I will correct your misconception regarding out-of-body experience, and it can involve a sleep disorder. The internet provides many sources and information...it is not just voodo science that you seem to imply.
Its a very interesting phenomonon. There are individuals that have had a near death or claimed to have died who experienced a life after death experience. Also, some medications will cause the phenomonon...I experienced that where I felt I was out of my body looking down at my body resting and inclined due to medication...the hospital reduced the dosage:).
If I came here with a serious question about an alarming sleep disorder, and someone told me it could be because I'm floating out of my body and experiencing things, I'd think I had walked into the local psychiatric unit.
"but if you keep comming after me and go "smart "on me I just might correct you a little."
I can't wait for the corrections, we are all here to learn, but learn reality.
Have a nice day
Where are you going for your holidays this year? two weeks in Narnia perhaps?
"The constant staying only one field can be harmful"
I could give you a very good debate on many topics. How about quantum physics? or how about the latest theory of universe projection? What I refuse to learn about are hobgoblins, trolls and fairies. Tell me, do you think people read your comments on OOBE and think "now thats a good idea" or "yeah whatever" ?
Now who is the ranked one.
REALITY is the key, we live in the real world here.
you may want to read in the heart rhythm forum; this happens to quite a few of us with night terrors/nightmare type dreams & Myoclonic Jerks that raise the bp/hr.
I have a pacemaker/icd and I have in my reports where I go into NSVT about every other night with HR's in the 190's - 200, and wake up in night terrors or nightmares, chest pounding, can't breathe, and nothing helps to control it other than deep breathing to try and get my hr and bp back down.
someone just asked their dr about this -

Are you sure it's not your sleep apnea? my dr said my problems during the night like this were due to my OSA.
"Educate yourself"
Where does one get educated on OOBE? Hogwarts? Sorry, but I don't believe in such things, or the tooth fairy.
This sounds like an anxiety issue to me. The mind can play some very realistic tricks on our bodies. You may have had a bad experience at one time which you remember. If you are going to bed each night with an expectation of having a repeat performance, you will.
I would see my doctor and make sure all is well and try to relax. You should try changing your nightly routine, do something different to break the cycle. Maybe a hot shower before bed or something to help you sleep. I can tell you're frustrated, but try not to let your mind dwell on this, which I know is easier to say than do.
Hope this helps,
Jon
" (out of body experience) and that might terrifying you: What you see, feel"
W H A T ! ! ! ?
maybe the G-Force of astrally projecting himself out the window is causing it.
Sounds like your problem may be stress related. I am one that believes we should not worry, it does not help anything.
I have found the very best doctor I have had has been myself. Look at your symptoms, research the cure and you'll find you can do very well.
I attended a web seminar from Dr Steven Y Park here and learned alot about how our sleep habits affect all aspects of our lives. Here's his info; check his name and read all of his info. http://www.medhelp.org/user_posts/list/645869?personal_page_id=861727
"Untreated obstructive sleep apnea can lead to chronic fatigue, depression, anxiety, weight gain, high blood pressure, heart disease, heart attack and stroke." He has a blog or post that shows great tips on breathing right for better oxygen levels; which has helped me especially during the night.
