Nitro Spray

Does Nitro Spray 'go bad' after awhile?  I found a bottle that I was persribed two years ago but never used.  Is it still good?  There doesn't seem to be an experiation date.

I know pills have a short shelf life and that should also apply to the spray.  It loses its effectiveness so it is probably OK to try,  My older nitro pills works well, but they aren't two years old! .

My bottle of Nitrolingual pumpspray was purchased early in January of this year (2008), and written on the bottom of the bottle is the expiration date:  May, 2009.  With the Nitro tablets, I tried to keep them pretty current, but if I wasn't sure if they were still potent I'd simply put it to the test -- if I got a little headache when I took it, they were still potent. I'm sure I'll use the same 'test' with the spray as well.
