No personal or family history of heart trouble.

by Antonio1381, Apr 10, 2007 12:00AM
I recently had a thallium stress test done and the results were false positive according to my cardioligist. I am an anemic 35 year old male.My results states that 11 min and 39 sec were achieved on the Bruce protocol,185 bpm.Iwas told that i have exercised induced ischemia. Can this level of exercise be expected from a person with heart disease? I do not have any family history of heart disease and my cholesterol is within range .Never had any symptoms of heart trouble.A cardiac catherization is recommended. How likely am i to have blockage of the arteries?Or are the results related to my anemia? Is it possible for the thallium to falsely predict heart disease?I am just a little worried and need a second opinion.
