Nocturnal PVC's AND GERD

I don't know if this forum is still active or not since the last post I saw was May, 2003. I'll give it a shot anyway.

I have a combination of three major issues:
1. Coronary artery disease with a history of a triple bipass followed 10 years later with 2 stents.
2. COPD, currently with normal 02 saturations
3. Extremely active GERD primarily active after going to bed. This is so active that I occassionally have to regirgitate acid.

During cardiac rehab, my cardiologist noted sporadic PVC's, initially at rest trigeminy and decreasing in frequency as exercise progressed. He decided to order a 24 hr holter. The results of the holter showed occassional PVC's during the daytime while I was active with much higher activity between the hours of 1 -5 A.M. He has decided to follow up with an overnight oximetry to see if there is any relationship between increased PVC's and lower O2 sats.

However, I don't think I have yet discussed my extremely active GERD duing the same hours.

Does anyone give me input regarding this relationshp????

Thanks for any input

This discussion is related to PVCs and silent acid reflux or GERD.
