Hi Dr.,
I am writting out of some concerns about a brother's health. He recently had a lung scan for some nodules that were seen in a lung axray. His Dr. then told him these were not nodules but
littleLittle noses decongestant
Little tummys bloodclots. He also had a stress test, and while on the machine, his oxygen level dropped really low, they took him off and had to give him oxygen, which didn't immediately bring the level back up. He has a problem with being short winded when trying to do anything, also. The Dr's are puzzeled as to what has caused these problems. They are doing a lung test for Asthma-but don't feel that is the problem. They say they have conferred with other Dr's, none which have any idea what has caused the bloodclots or lack of oxygen problems.
Is there any information that you can offer me, that may point to a drrection on this? Could it be an artery problem or something to do with the heart, rather than the lungs?? Thank you very much for any advice you can share with me. Dorrie
