Now having PVC's, SVT and Atrial Fib.

Hi again. Since I had my heart Cath. in 2007, I have had more problems! I have been in A-Fib twice now and SVT once and I have PVC's almost everyday! Since my heart cath., I have had a few Echo's of my heart and they have found that my Left Atrium is at the upper limits of normal and now so is my left Ventricle! My regular doctor told me that there is nothing wrong with my heart and that the echo's of my heart enlarging doesn't mean anything since my heart cath. was clear. My valves are leaking and they have told me it's mild to moderate on the leakage and not to worry about it. My question is, Should I find another cardiologist or not? I am sick and tired of being told I am too young to have heart problems and also that there is nothing wrong! I currently have no insurance so it is hard on me to keep being put in the hospital and told that my cardiologist should be doing something when he is not. I am currently on Warfarin at 6mg a day and Atenolol 50 mg twice a day and I still have PVC's. Please help!

You probably should see a different cardiologist, an electrophysiologist would be most helpful in deciding whether or not the heart dilation is related to the frequent arrhythmias and the PVC.  If that were the case aggressive medical therapy to try to suppress these arrhythmias would be warranted.  There is also an ablation procedure that is available in the medication refractory cases but without insurance it would be a bit costly.
