Numbness in arms, pain at night

My Husband at age 35 is struggling with his arms going to sleep at night. It has been so bad that he can not use them. He has trouble getting sleep because of the pain. He also discovered that he has high blood pressure. He is being very stubborn about the seriousness of this and I am trying very hard to get him to a Doctor. Should my concern be as worried as I am. Could something be going on with his Heart?

Perhaps but it could also be a pinched nerve in his neck. Maybe if he thought it was something less scary (like a pinched nerve), he might be more willing to see the doctor. Expecting some physical therapy is less threatening than a possible heart problem. But the doctor can check him out and decide.

This is probably not a heart issue , most likely a nerve problem. If it was his heart and his arms were going that numb it would also happen in his feet and well a blood flow like that would mean an almost totally blocked artery which is unlikely at his age ( unless he has a family history ) Not that I would ignore this , go to a doctor and tell them what is going on so he can have it checked out.
