On/off chest pain

On/off chest pain

I am a 29 y/o male. I have no med hx, nkda, (no known drug allergies).  My question is that i have been having these on and off chest pains like a tightness right behind sternum. it has happened approx 4 times this year and when the pain comes it hurts bad at times for approx 5 minutes than it will start to subside but may last up to 24 hrs but not at it's worst pain.  I have no other problems i.e- sob,  running nose, cough, sweating, stiff neck, no pulse change that i noticed i dont lose my appitite just the pain in the chest.  It does not hurt when i lay down or when i am just sitting around i just feels discomfort not pain, but i do feel pain when i may sneeze or when i get up from lying down and when i move around.  i try to recall what i ate prior to having these pains but i can not think of anything that stands out, nothing really spicy ( i do eat spicy foods but i never get the pains)  do not over drink ( i do drink sometimes ie wine or mixed drinks in moderation but i dont feel the pain)  i know i should go to the doctor and i probably will but by the time i decide i should go the pain is gone.  Thank you for your time and cocideration in this matter

This does not sound cardiac in nature, especially that you have no risk factors for CAD.  It also does not sound to be related to the aorta.  Most likely this is some type of musculoskeletal chest pain that should most likely respond to some ibuprofen or tylenol.    I don't think that this is asthma either.
