Ouch!!!

Sex- Male
Age- 26
Asthmatic since i was born
Meds- 100/50 Advair x2 daily, 10mg Singuliar nightly before bed

Problem- For the last 5-6 years or for as long as i can remember now every morning when i wake up i have pain in my chest mostly the left side.  It also hurts to breathe deep.   The pain seems to go away after an hour or so.  Any help would be great!  Thanks :)

I also have asthma and during a flare lying down often makes things worse. Perhaps you feel like your asthma is under control but the left side may have some chronic inflammation that's just giving you fits. Have you been in to the doc during the past 5 years to have it checked? You should have someone listen to your lungs and perhaps get a radiograph done.

I feel it sometimes too.  I believe that it is due to laying on my left side at night and it pools the yuck up.  When you get up it moves (the yuck) and then the pain stops.  I know, this may be too technical, but "Yuck" is the only term I have for it.
