PVC/PAC follwing a great day

I am just feeling low today and wanted some encouragement. I had my first session with a therapist yesterday and I just overall had a wonderful day! Great mood, didn't care if I had a PVC/PAC or not...then today...I woke up with strong fast beats and have had palps on and off today...if I move a certain way or after exercising..no matter what I do..sitting here typing I am having them. And I feel so tired and sluggish! I don't know, maybe I didn't sleep well but I just can't believe I went from having such a wonderful day to a horrible day in a matter of 24 hours...anyone else get these manic episodes with this beast we know and call Pac/Pvc's?

Since I get them all the time, it is hard to tell what is going on but like you I have good and bad days.  Worse at work because of how I have to sit (it is the most UNergonomic set up imaginable there is nothing anyone can do to change it because the nature of the work.)  Since sitting scrunched forward like I do makes them more noticable, I am stuck feeling this way more often at work than anywhere.  I have considered seeing a therapist just to help me during those time when they are pretty bad, to try and sidetrack myself.  At home I can do this easily, talk on the phone, do something with the kids, read a book, watch an entertaining show, etc.  But at work it is very very hard to NOT notice them.

that could actually be a side effect of the klonopin, sometimes those anti-anxiety meds just cause you to have more anxiety. I took ativan for awhile and it was great, then one day it just didnt wanna work anymore and jsut made me more upset and anxious. I got off the drugs and have never felt better.

thats great! thats what happens, people dont realize how soon you will start to feel better once you start getting help for anxiety.. Its a proccess, you will get that great high, but you will still feel low, until eventually the low periods get shorter and shorter, and then are gone. Good luck

It must have been a domino effect.  Same here was feeling great yesterday running around doing errands.  I even said I was on a high because I was feeling so good.  I even drove an hour away from my house to another county to do some real estate stuff.  It got late evening about 4pm and was going to do some janitorial when all of a sudden I got that choked feeling in my chest and my palms got sweaty, I almost couldn't continue driving.  The palps, panic & anxiety set in.  I felt the low and drove home took a klonopin and waited for that to set in.  Sleep and had night terror all night.  All of us slept late, I felt miserable, still feeling it today.  Wow! must have been the alignment of the planets.

I think it is a bigger letdown for us after a good day when they pop back up.  You go from the high of not having them, to the low of...man...these again!?

What you're feeling is normal for those of us who suffer with PACs and PVCs.  Focus on the good, not on the bad.  You'll beat these!

i'm totally there with ya!
what a coincidence! i just had my first therapy session yesterday to deal with my pvc's too! i'm also taking 10mg of lexapro for the anxiety that goes along with this dreaded little problem.
i know just how you feel. it's so empowering to let the angst and anxiety out at the therapists, and it feels like you're king (or in my case--queen) of the world. then the pvc's start and it feels like you're back to square one.
it sucks. make that Sucks! it's so difficult to have days when your heart if beating along just like a normal person, and then have days when rolling over in bed will put you up to 150bpm! who knows why this happens?
be as easy as possible on yourself. know that the condition isn't life threatening, and read through the forum. it's nice to know that we're not alone!
hang in there! i'm sending lots of positive thoughts your way.
