PVC and Reflux

I've had frequent PVCs for the past several months.  Something strange happened today.  All day, I've had PVCs at a rate of one per beat or one per every two or three beats.  At night (like usual)they became more frequent.  I also noticed some heartburn tonight (not usual).  I got up, took a Tums, and the PVCs all but stopped for 1/2 hour.  I can also easily "start up" PVCs within myself by simply lying on my left side at almost any time.
Is there a documented connection between PVCs and GI problems?
